Listen to a guided meditation

Meditation has been practiced for thousands of years.  The spiritual goal of meditation includes achieving a higher state of awareness, compassion and consciousness as it slowly melts away the restraints of ego.

Most of us have a fundamental desire for inner peace and silence.  A time for ourselves that we can spend reflecting and relaxing.  By quieting our mind for just a few minutes everyday and focusing on the present, we can begin to be more relaxed and deliberate in our thoughts.  It requires us to detach ourselves from the things in life that are really not that important ~ the person who cut you off on the freeway or the person who took your parking spot.  By detaching yourself from these things, you are directing your energy and attention to positive life-changing actions.

When the mind focuses on a particular part of the body, blood flow to that area increases and the cells receive increased oxygen and nutrients.  This helps make the mind quicker and able to think more clearly.  So, if meditation strengthens our mind and improves our ability to concentrate, this enables us to turn off the worry switch and all the thoughts that run incessantly through our minds.  This in turn creates an inner stillness that trickles down into all aspects of our lives creating better relationships.  And with this new self control, our feelings of self confidence sky rocket.

There is a growing awareness that the state of our mind and our physical health are closely related.  Physical ailments are often the manifestation of inner turbulence, and meditation can help give us the peace of mind necessary to heal.  Humans have achieved amazing accomplishments in life, yet many of us are still struggling to achieve inner peace of mind.  Through meditation, we can accomplish this.  Once accomplished, we can take on anything.

If you are dissatisfied with your current state, feel empty or find you have no purpose in life, meditation can teach you to find out who you are.  You will get a new perspective on life by meditating on one simply question: WHO AM I?
Come and find out who you really are...
